Tips for a Glowing You on your Wedding Day.

Every bride dreams about looking perfect on their wedding day. After all, the day you get married is one of the biggest milestones in anyone’s life.

However, brides are often already consumed with tons of wedding checklists and to-dos. How can you make sure that you will look your best on your wedding day? With so much advice from magazines, celebrities, and even loved ones, we've asked our doctors for some of the most important and practical tips on how to look vibrant for your big day.

1. Consult a Dermatologist

They will help you set a treatment plan months before the wedding day, some treatments take time like up to several months—and you certainly want a game plan. "Even if you're not prone to skin problems it is still recommended to remove dead skin cells and unclogged those pores caused by pollution" said Dr. Chua. She recommends microdermabrasion, peels or facials known for increasing cell turnover, unclogging pores, boosting collagen, and fading hyper pigmentation giving you a smoother , softer skin for an extra glow.

Make sure to book an experienced skincare expert instead of opting for DIY facials or settling for cheap treatments. Besides, you will definitely need some extra pampering with all the wedding preps that you will be swamped with.

Remove those unwanted hair. Laser hair removal is recommended at least six months before the wedding day to give you enough time to see significant results.

2. Consult a Dentist

You and your fiance will be smiling from sun up to sun down, so have those pearly whites ready.

Dr. Syjuco recommends seeing their dentist 6 months before the wedding day for check-up to give enough time to have treatments done before the wedding day. She recommends an In-office teeth whitening at least, 2-3 weeks before the wedding day to get those pearly whites to match your dress.

"If you don't like the shade, shape or size of your teeth, Porcelain Veneers is another option to create a flawless smile" says Dr. Cabatu. She also added that cosmetic bonding is also another option that is effective & affordable to achieve a beautiful smile.

3. Adopt a healthy lifestyle

No matter what expert products and treatments you use and avail of, living an unhealthy lifestyle will still manifest in your skin and teeth. So consider dropping bad habits such as smoking, drinking too much alcohol, and missing out on sleep.

Eating right will not only slim you down in time for your wedding, but can help bring out your skin’s natural glow. Aside from drinking water, incorporating naturally hydrated food into your diet works wonders too. Watermelons, cucumbers, tomatoes, kale, and grapefruits are some of the superfoods that bride-to-bes can try.

As for keeping your teeth white, avoid smoking, staining food & drinks like coffee, red wine, tea, cola, dishes with tomato, curry, and berry -based sauces.

Our doctors says bride's do commit to skincare and dental hygiene routine BEFORE the wedding day, "... but don't forget the AFTER" says Dr. Syjuco. Because this is just as important as preparing for the big day. So, keep that glow even after the big day!
